FOCUSED ON YOUR SON
CLVEN is proud to provide a safe living learning environment for your son during his college years. While all houses are different, our focus is to enhance the collegiate experience through this living-learning environment. To that end, we provide property management services and work to centralize all chapter housing operations. We believe that parents and family are essential to the work that we do building and developing Better Men though our housed chapters.
YOUR ROLE AS A PARENT
Your son took on an obligation when he joined Alpha Sigma Phi and choosing to live in a chapter house is another responsibility we hope you help him navigate. While each chapter sets expectations related to finances, live-in requirements, conduct, or other house related items, we encourage you to learn about your son’s new home and help him live by the obligations he agreed to uphold. As a parent, you may be asked to be the guarantor on your son’s lease so please ensure you understand that agreement fully. If you are supporting your son financially while they are in college, please work with him to identify the appropriate means to pay for housing related costs. CLVEN managed houses typically bill through Legacy Financial, sometimes called LegFi, and the chapter or your son can work on providing you necessary access
LOCAL HOUSE CORPORATIONS
In addition to CLVEN owned and managed houses, the fraternity also has local House Corporations, typically made of alumni, that own or manage a chapter facility. If your son’s house is not on our list of CLVEN Properties, they may fall under one of these umbrellas outside CLVEN and our management. Please refer any local House Corporations to their designated contact.
